VERTECO Confirms Position as Regional Sustainability Powerhouse
Sustainability experts VERTECO have scooped two honours at the 2023 Gulf Sustainability Awards, an event celebrating the ‘best of the best’ environmental organizations in the region.
VERTECO’s Managing Director, David King, was named ‘Sustainability Professional of the Year’, billed by the organisers as one of the most competitive categories of the evening. The sought-after solo title is given to the individual who the independent panel of judges feel has achieved the most prolific success within the sector over the last 12 months, and who they feel is shaping the future of sustainability for the Gulf.
VERTECO, the region’s leading supplier of award-winning Smart Washroom Solutions, Water Saving Products and Data Driven Cleaning Technology, also took home a bronze award for ‘Innovation in Sustainable Technologies’, a category showcasing the most cutting-edge technology being utilized by MENA companies.
Both awards truly cement VERTECO’s position as a sustainability powerhouse and recognise the pivotal role the company’s disruptive technology has played in improving the environmental credentials of some of the biggest companies across the region.
David King said of the awards, “To be named as the region’s top sustainability professional by an organization that is known for recognizing only the most outstanding environmental entities, is truly humbling. We are extremely proud of the role we have played in driving a transformation of the region’s digital space, through the supply of our innovative technology, which prioritises sustainability above everything else. Shortlisted companies on the evening included some of the region’s biggest environmental organisations and to see VERTECO announced as a winner twice, really does mark a significant milestone for us.”
