Our Waterless Urinal wins IWFM Award for Innovation

LONDON, UK – 6^th November 2019 – The UAE’s leading water conservation expert VERTECO, has won this year’s IWFM Award for Innovation and Technology for its Waterless Urinal system.

Using its expertise as a market leader in water saving solutions, smart water management, smart washroom solutions, washroom hygiene, scent marketing and specialist drain solutions, the VERTECO Group has been awarded the prestigious IWFM 2019 prize held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

VERTECO’s Waterless Urinal system is a hygienic solution that reduces water use, saves cost through reduced maintenance, can be retro-fitted to existing urinals and prevents blockages. The solution incorporates a non-return one way valve to stop bacteria growth and eradicate bad odours.

This technology has saved VERTECO clients globally an estimated 750,000,000 cubic meters of water, AED 9 billion and 14.7 million kilos in carbon. The system is non-hazardous and all cleaning materials are environmentally friendly.

This initiative makes a major, measurable contribution to environmental sustainability, while improving the workplace experience.
